Infant & Toddler Care
Birth to 2 years
Chiropractic care is not a substitute for routine pediatric medical care. Developmental concerns, persistent pain, significant injuries, and other medical conditions should be evaluated by your child's pediatrician.
What It Is
Infant and toddler chiropractic care focuses on the developing muscles, joints, and spine using gentle, age-appropriate techniques. Our goal is to address musculoskeletal discomfort, encourage comfortable movement, and support your child’s physical development as they grow.
When It’s Needed
From birth through the toddler years, babies experience rapid physical development as they learn to lift their heads, roll, sit, crawl, and walk. During these stages, muscle tension, restricted movement, or positional preferences may become noticeable. Your child may benefit from a chiropractic evaluation if they experience:
- Neck stiffness or a preference for turning their head one direction
- Muscle tension or restricted joint movement
- Difficulty finding comfortable feeding or sleeping positions
- Asymmetrical positioning or movement patterns
- Musculoskeletal discomfort during tummy time, crawling, or early walking
What Can It Help With
Infant and toddler chiropractic care may help address muscle tension, joint mobility restrictions, and musculoskeletal discomfort. Our focus is on encouraging comfortable movement and helping children participate in age-appropriate activities as they grow and develop.
What to Expect
Our chiropractors use gentle techniques tailored to your child’s age and needs, including light fingertip pressure or other appropriate methods. We focus on keeping children comfortable while providing individualized care.
